How To Get Free Extra Dropbox Space
January 18, 2011
Best. App. Ever. Its completely free and register via this referral link and we both get free extra space!! http://db.tt/Cp0xqxY
Yes, seriously its that good. The best way to get free extra space is to sign up via a referral link. This will give you 250 MB more of extra space than you would have received by simply signing up regularly. If you have an .edu email account then that will be 500 MB of free extra space. If you are a student and already have a dropbox account, then there is no need to restart one with your .edu email address. Instead just go to dropbox.com/edu and you can link your .edu email address to your current dropbox account and (after verification by email) you will now get double (500 MB) the added space for each referral. This 500 MB boost is retroactive too so anyone you have already referred will count as 500 MB for you (but only 250 MB for them unless they are a student as well). You should link your .edu email address before you start doing some of the other steps as some of them may give you double space as well in addition to just the referrals.
Also be sure to complete the six steps in the “Get Started” tab of the home screen to get another 250 MB.
Go to dropbox.com/free to link your facebook and twitter accounts and get 128 MB for each of the six tasks you complete. Thats a total of 768 MB more of additional space on top of the standard 2 GB given to any normal registration without a referral.

Has this info been a help to you? Please consider donating to help me pay for hosting costs. I hate ads as much as you do, which is why I will never have them here. But that means I have to pay for all costs related to this website out of my student loans or from money I find laying on the street. I make no profit from this content or this website and all donations go strictly to pay for hosting and bandwidth costs. Even a small donation really does help. Thanks!
If you are poor like me but still want to help then you could sign up for dropbox with this affiliate link: http://db.tt/Cp0xqxY (it gives us both free extra space). Its a SUPER useful service that you really should try – especially if you are a student or have an iPad or smartphone. It will change your life for the better – I promise.
